For those of you who have managed to live under a rock for the last few months I thought you should see how much money we owe. I say we because, yes, you will be expected to pay this money back.

The Outstanding Public Debt as of 04 Dec 2008 at 07:00:45 PM GMT is:

The estimated population of the United States is 305,214,060
so each citizen’s share of this debt is $35,032.68.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$3.89 billion per day since September 28, 2007!

My god! That is amazing! And this is not including all those rediculous bailouts. Our “great leaders” are throwing around billions and trillions in a way that we throw around ones and tens! It is not different just cause they’re bigger!

There is a point in your budget where you look at it and you know you will never be able to pay it off. We have reached that point! Our great-grandchildren will still be paying on this massive debt! It is unacceptable for us to have allowed this to happen. The government only has the power we allow them to have!We have to quit letting this insectuous government run wild on our dime.
